Treatment is not recommended in case of:

• Pregnancy up to 6 months after delivery
• Even when you are still breastfeeding
• Use of anti-inflammatory drugs
• Use of antibiotics
• Use of blood thinners
• Use of Roaccutane
• Type I diabetes

Also keep the following in mind:

• No sun 24 hours before treatment 
• No sun for 4 weeks after treatment

This treatment is certainly suitable for cold sores, but it is recommended to take vitamin C and L-lysine daily for three months beforehand.
